日本における大学発ベンチャーは，2020年度時点で2,905社に達し，そのうち907社がバイオ，ヘルスケア，医療機器に関連したベンチャー企業である。ここ数年は毎年200社を超える高い水準で大学発ベンチャーが設立されるなど，活況を呈している。本論では，創薬を目的とした大学発ベンチャーを主眼に，現状，意義，大学での発明の扱い，ベンチャー設立プロセス，知的財産マネジメント，利益相反マネジメント，エグジットについて概説する。

Abstract

As of 2020, the number of university-originated startup companies in Japan had reached 2,905, of which 907 are companies related to biotechnology, healthcare, and medical devices. In recent years, this industry has been booming, with more than 200 university startup companies being established every year. This paper outlines the current situation, significance, handling of inventions at the university, company establishment process, intellectual property management, conflict of interest management, and exit, focusing on university-originated startups aimed at drug discovery.
