In vitro studies were done in 20 pieces of rabbit and 12 pieces of human vas deferens, applying Nd:YAG laser instrument, guiding the fible into vaso and doing irradiation occlusion experiments at 30~50W power to determine the threshold damage level. Results indicated that the ef-fective threshold value was 40W/0.5~1s in rabbit vaso,45W/1s and 50W/0.5s in human vaso. Afterwards, in vivo experiment studies of vasopuncture and occlusion wereconducted in 150 rabbits.
