A 37 years-old man presented with stage II-B testicular anaplastic seminoma. 4 months after 3 courses of BEP chemotherapy, bulky retroperitoneal lymph node metastasis with ipsilateral non functioning kidney was revealed. With additional 3 courses of VIP chemotherapy, 80 per cent reduction of the tumor size and pathological complete response was achieved. The patient is free of disease 16 months after operation.
