神奈川県立こども医療センターにおける1970年〜1972年度泌尿器科の臨床統計的観察

STATISTICAL OBSERVATIONS ON UROLOGICAL DISEASES OF OUTPATIENTS, INPATIENTS AND OPERATIONS AT THE DEPARTMENT OF UROLOGY, KANAGAWA CHILDRENS' MEDICAL CENTER FOR 3 YEARS FROM MAY 1970 TO MARCH 1973

緒言

　神奈川県立こども医療センターは小児総合医療機関として1970年5月開設されたわが国でも数少ない小児専門病院で，ベッド数約330を有する。このうち泌尿器科は常勤医師2名，専用ベッド10〜11床，外来診療は週3〜4日である。

　当センターが開設されてから3年間（1970年5月〜1973年3月）の泌尿器科外来，入院患者および手術術式について統計的観察を試み，およその小児泌尿器科の傾向が判明した。

Statistical observations were made on urological diseases of outpatients, inpatients and operations at the department of Urology, Kanagawa Childrens' Medical Center for 3 years from May 1970 to March 1973.

1) The total number of outpatients was 1113 with 826 males and 287 females. The ratio of male to female was 2.88 to 1.

2) The total number of inpatients was 325 with 263 males and 62 females. The ratio of male to female was 4.24 to 1.
