  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

On March 22, 1965, T.N., a male, aged 21, was first seen at the District Hospital 17 days after he had noticed an enlargement of the left testicle. Physical examination disclosed a hard, smooth, fist-sized intra-scrotal mass on the left side. There were no other pertinent physical findings. Pregnancy test was positive (Sero-test). A left orchiectomy was performed, with a pathological diagnosis of emryonal carcinoma with foci of choriocarcinoma. The pregnancy test became negative 26 days after operation, and there were neither signs of recurrence nor metastasis. He was discharged with restoration of health on May 22.
