  • Look Inside

Vertigo in children is relatively uncommon. As first described by Basser in 1964, benign paroxymal vertigo(BPV) is paroxymal, non-epileptic and recurrent ver-tigo, which occurs in neurologically intact children. Although BPV is well known in western countries, there are only a few reports of BPV in children in Japan. Recently, BPV in children is thought to be associated with migraine. We report two cases of BPV with the neurotological findings and stress the importance of the examination from the genetical viewpoint.
