反回神経麻痺を初発症状とした不顕性肺癌の1例

Recurrent Nerve Paralysis due to Occult Cancer of the Lung

I．緒言

　反回神経麻痺による嗄声を訴えて来診する患者は稀ではなく，さまざまな検査を行いながら原因を明確にできない症例も多い。このような症例は特発性反回神経麻痺として経過観察されやすいが，重要なのはその原因に悪性腫瘍の存在がないかを追うことであろう。さらに大切なのは，反回神経麻痺をきたす1因子が発見されたために以後の検索がついおろそかになり，隠れた因子を見逃し原疾患の治療時期を遅らせてしまうようなことを避けることであろう。

　最近われわれは反回神経麻痺の原因検索の過程で甲状腺腫瘍を見出したものの，真の原因が肺門部肺癌であった1例を経験した。反回神経麻痺の原囚検索において日常の臨床の参考にすべぎ1例と考え，反省を含めて若干の文献的考察を加え報告する。

This patient presented another tumor of the left thyroid lobe.

Cancer often involves the Botallo's lymph nodes either by infiltration or metastases, which is often elusive in radiological examination.

A careful and continuous observation is needed for paralysis of the recurrent nerve on the left side.
