眼外傷の病態と予後

Clinical features and prognosis of ocular injuries

　市中病院における最近の眼外傷患者の実態を探る目的で，1986年と1987年の2年間の自験例について調査した。

　眼外傷の患者数は292人で，これは同期間中の初診患者数11,369人の2.6％に相当していた。男201例，女91例で，男女比はほぼ12対1であった。年齢階層別では男は10歳台が201例中50例（24％），女は20歳台が91例中28例（31％）で最も多かった。原因別ではスポーツ外傷が65例（22％）で最も多く，次いで労働災害が40例（14％）であった。

　臨床的に緊急性が高かったのは292例中105例（36％）であった．

　視力が最終的に0.2以下となった重症例は9人（3.1％）で，その病態別内訳は眼球壁穿孔性外傷5例，網膜振盪症2例，視神経損傷2例であった。

We evaluated a consecutive series of 292 cases of ocular injury in our hospital seen in 1986 and 87. Sports activity was implicated in the ocular injury in 65 out of the 292 cases (22%), occupational labor in 40 (14%), corneal or conjunctival foreign body in 38 (13%), use of contact lens in 38 (13%) andvariable other situations in 111 (38%). There were 201 males (68%) and 91 females (32%).

There were 9 instances of severe eye injury. The injury was associated with occupational labor in 3, spots in 2, automobile crash in 2, motorcycle crash in 1 and bicycle crash in 1.
