  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

Supraliminal contrast transfer function was ex-amined in normal subjects and patients with optic nerve disorders. In normal subjects, the contrast sensitivity rose in the low frequency region, and the curve tended to be flattened with increase of contrast. In patients with optic nerve disorders, the function could be classified into three types : a type of low frequency elevation and high frequency attenuation, a type of flat shape (no attenuation and elevation), and a type of low frequency attenu-ation and high frequency elevation.
