ベーチェット病患者における高比重リポ蛋白コレステロール（HDL-C）の検索

Serum level of total and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol in Behçet's disease

　ベーチェット病患者97例，サルコイドーシス患者と原田病患者各13例，健康人42例についてHDL-CとTCを測定し，ベーチェット病患老のみにHDL-C値が有意に低いという結果を得た。

　ベーチェット病患者では視力が不良になるに従ってHDL-Cは低値を示し，また男性患者は女性患者よりも有意に低い値であった。一方，年齢，治療法，罹病期間，HLA-B 5はHDL-C値に影響を与えなかった。また，TC値はベーチェット病患者と健康人との間に差はなかった。

　本病患者におけるHDL-C値低下の意義は今後さらに検討しなければならない。

We examined the serum levels of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) in Behçet's disease (97 cases), sarcoidosis (13), Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada disease (13) and in 42 normal subject as control. We also measured the serum levels of total chole-sterol (TC) in Behçet's disease (97 cases) and in 42 normal controls. The HDL-C levels were 45.11±11.8 mg/100 ml for Behçet's disease, 57.9±11.9 for sarcoidosis, 55.8±13.9 for Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada disease and 59.1±11.9 for control. The value for Behçet's disease was significantly less than the other three groups.
