1. SMALL INCISION INTRAOCULAR LENS
This paper deals with the need and the rational behind a small incision intraocular lens. There are two basic reasons for pursuing such a lens.
(1) With a small incision, the lens can be inserted safely while the chamber is maintained by irrigation. With this system, there is practically no chance of endothelial touch to the intraocular lens.
