（7）農村のUlcus serpens corneaの治療に就て

Treatments of ulcus serpens comea in the agricultural district.

　私は昨隼7月札幌の日本農村医学会総会で此報告を致しました。今回は此続きであります。1952年3月より今日迄60例を治療し幸い全例治癒し且良好の視力を保有し得ました。

　御承知の如くSerpensの予後を左右する事は涙管疾患であります。私は見付け次第直ちに涙嚢を摘出しました。此代用方法は不可。

60 cases of ulcus serpens cornea in the agricultural district were treated by penicillin, streptomycin or sulfadiazin since 1952.

All the cases were cured their vision were improved satisfactorily. However, 3 cases have needed electric cauterization.
