視覚の生理的抑制に関する研究—1．正常視力のAmobarbitalによる脱抑制

Physiological Suppression of Visual Sensation:1. Desuppression Effect of Amobarbital on Normal Visual Acuity.

I．緒言

　PleopticsにAmobarbitalを使用するphar—macological pleopticsに関しては私どものクリニックからたびたび報告^1）2）3）しているがこの薬の視覚に対する作用をいろいろの角度から検討するために今回は正常視力眼に対する効果を実験した。一般に神経機能は，生理学的に促進と抑制の2つの相反する作用によつてコントロールされ，大脳には抑制支配の根源となる皮質が存在することが知られている。私どもはAmobarbitalにより視覚が脱抑制を受けると正常視力がさらに高くなる現象を発見した。今回はAmobarbitalにより正常視力がいかに変化するかということを主体に述べるが，この現象の解明のためにさらに電気生理学的研究も必要で一連の研究を行なう計画である。

This study attempted to prove the desup-pression effect of amobarbital in visual sensory mechanism as a basic investigation of pharma-cological pleoptics. Changes in visual acuity induced by intravenous amobarbital (5mg/kg) and intravenous diazepam (0.2mg/kg) as a control were determined. Remarkable increase of visual acuity for 2 to 24 hours was obtained by amobarbital, while a slight decease was found by diazepam.
