An infection of occular fossa that apperently originated from an initial gingival infection which soon developed into osteomyelitis of the maxillary bone as a contiguous involvement is found in a patient, aged 4 months. The cure is effected by surgical intervention and by use of antibiotics. The authors emphasize the fact that for diagnosis and treatment of occular fossa infections. It is essential that infections in neighboring tissues or structures such as maxillary sinuses, and especially in very young infants, the unerupted tooth should be recognized and given proper attention
