上眼瞼挙筋前転術におけるピオクタニン染色の有用性

Usefulness of staining by gentian violet in levator resection

要約　目的：上眼瞼挙筋前転術におけるゲンチアンバイオレット（ピオクタニン^®）染色の有用性の報告。対象と方法：上眼瞼挙筋前転術を行った先天眼瞼下垂6例7眼を対象とした。年齢は1年5か月～5年2か月（平均3年2か月）である。挟瞼器を使い，上眼瞼挙筋と眼窩隔膜を剝離する際に，結膜側から上眼瞼挙筋をゲンチアンバイオレットで染色し，上横走靭帯までの部分を同定できるようにした。結果：全例で上眼瞼挙筋の剝離と上横走靭帯の同定ができた。術中に眼窩隔膜や上眼瞼挙筋の穿孔はなかった。結論：眼瞼下垂手術で上眼瞼挙筋前転術のゲンチアンバイオレットによる染色は有用である。

Abstract.　Purpose：To report the usefulness of staining by gentian violet（Pyoktanin^®）in levator resection for congenital blepharoptosis. Cases and Method：This retrospective study was made on 7 eyes of 6 patients who received levator resection for congenital blepharoptosis. The age ranged from 17 months to 5 years 2 months, average 3 years 2 months. Surgery was performed through the palpebral skin using chalazion forceps. The levator muscle was stained by gentian violet during separation from the orbital septum. Results：The levator muscle could be separated from the superior transverse ligament in all the cases. Perforation of orbital septum or levator muscle was absent throughout. Conclusion：Staining of levator muscle with gentian violet is useful during ptosis surgery.
