脳出血後片麻痺が存在したため診断，治療に難渋した結核性頚椎炎の1例

Diagnosis and Treatment of Tuberculous Cervical Spondylitis Made Difficult by Hemiparesis Secondary to a Cerebral Hemorrhage. Case Report

　頚椎に発症する結核性脊椎炎は1～5％と稀である．結核性頚椎炎が片麻痺患者に発症したため診断，治療に難渋したので報告する．78歳女性の四肢麻痺を発症した結核性頚椎炎に前方固定術を施行した．非片麻痺側の機能は回復した．頚椎性の四肢麻痺が回復しても片麻痺が残存するため，機能回復までは困難を要した．

　A 78 year-old female with a history of hemiparesis due to a stroke developed quadriplegia as a complication of tuberculous cervical spondylitis.　Since tuberculous cervical spondylitis is rare, diagnosis was difficult.　It took a long time for the patient to recover her ability to walk because of the presence of hemiparesis.
