　塩酸セレギリンによる5年間の治療経過について報告する。対象は第Ⅱ相試験の終了後も本薬による治療を継続した患者10名である（全例L-DOPA／DCIを併用）。セレギリン最終1日用量は6.6±2.5mgであった。L-DOPA1日量は試験前410±160mgに対し6カ月目は365±133mgで減少したが，9カ月以降は症例数減少のため減量の程度は不明であった。症状別スコアの推移についてはwearing off現象の改善維持が3〜51カ月にみられた。全般改善度，有用度は18〜30カ月で一定であったが，36カ月以降は低下した。このことはパーキンソン病進行の影響の可能性が大きい。今回の調査で本剤によるパーキンソン病の長期治療の忍容性が維持された。

We herein report on the outcome of 5 year-treat-ment of Parkinson's disease patients with selegiline hydrochloride. The subjects participated in this study were 10 patients whose treatment had been main-tained consecutively by administration of this agent even after completion of the Phase Ⅱ trial (all cases under adjunct therapy with L-DOPA/DCI) . The daily dose of selegiline hydrochloride was 6.6±2.5 mg in average at the end and/or termination of the study.
