抄録 Alzheimer病の末期で死亡した10剖検例において,脳髄のamyloid angiopathy (AA)出現頻度,分布を光顕的に検索した。そしてAlzheimer原線維変化(NFT),老人斑(SP),神経細胞脱落(CL)などの諸病変の分布,程度と比較検討した。1) NFT,SPの出現部位,出現量は高度かつ広範囲で,症例による差異は少ない。2) AAは全症例に認められたが,その出現部位,出現量は症例によって著明な差があった。全症例を通覧すると,前頭葉,側頭葉,後頭葉,眼窩回,小脳などの軟膜と皮質上層に比鮫的多く認められたが,いちじるしく高度な出現量をしめす部位をもつ症例はなかった。3) SP,NETの出現部位,出現量は,AAの出現部位,出現量と相関がない。4) Meynert核では,神経細胞脱落,NETの出現が全例に,かつ高度に認められた。
In 10 autopsied cases of terminal stage of Alz-heimer's disease, the incidence and distribution of amyloid angiopathy (AA) in the brain were mea-sured under light microscope. Further, the distri-bution and intensity of Alzheimer's neurofibrillary change (NFT), senile plaque (SP), and loss of neurons (CL) were compared among the indivi-dual cases.
1) NFT and SP were frequently seen over wideareas with little individual variations.
2) AA was present in all cases, but its distri-bution and frequency markedly differed from individual to individual. Generally, AA was rela-tively common in the pia and cortical upper layers of the frontal, temporal and occipital lobe, orbital gyrus and cerebellum, but there was no particular site showing very high rate of occurrence.
3) SP and NFT had no correlation to AA in regard to their site and frequency.
4) In all cases, the nucleus basalis of Meynert showed marked loss of neurons and very frequent occurrence of NFT.
