Alveolar soft part sarcoma is a rare disease. This report described a 32-year-old man with alveolar soft part sarcoma presumably originating in the right sided axillary lymphnode and metastasizing to the bilateral lungs, and also to the motor cortex of the right cerebral hemisphere. Two lesions of the cerebral metastases of 8gm and 18.4gm in weight were surgically removed. Following this surgery, several kinds of antineoplastic agents such as 5 FU (5-fluorouracil) of 250mg × 32, "Toyo-mycin" (Chromomycin A3) of 500 r× 32 and Vin-blastine of 53.0 mg in total dosis were used. The patient showed clinical improvement and is well enjoying his home life 8 months after the craniotomy despite of having multiple, at least 7, abnornal round shadows measuring 24 to 70mm in diameter on chest x-ray film. An additional brief review of the cases previously reported was presented.
