　1963年6月9日，"Motor and Premotor Areas"をテーマとしたFulton Societyの第1回シンポジウムが閉かれた（AtlanticCity）。

　座長はVictor Soriano教授，約300人の熱心な専門家がシンポジウムに参加した。プログラムは右段のとおりであるが，このシンポジウムの内容はInternational Jour—nal of Neurologyに掲載予定である。掲載号にはその他に"The Significance of Complex Motor Patterns in the Response to Cortical Stimulation （イギリスのJ．　A． V．　Bates博士）"と"The Organization of the Motor System （アメリカのH．　G．　J．　M． Kuypers博士）"の2本の興味ある論文が同時に掲載される。
