抄録
Bipolarityを客観的に評価する目的で，Sachsが考案したbipolarity index(以下，BI)とGhaemiらによるpotential bipolar(以下，PB)をスコア化して後方視的に検討した。うつ病エピソードで入院歴があり，その後1年以上経過観察し診断に至った，うつ病，反復性うつ病，双極性障害の3群を対象とした。BIとPBスコアはお互い有意に相関し，2つのスコアから3群の分類が可能であった。BIおよびPBの下位項目について，ともに双極性障害群で有意に高く，さらにPBはうつ病群と反復性うつ病群が区別できる項目が多かった。したがって，BIとPBは，うつ病の双極化だけでなく反復化も反映し，一部予測に使用できる可能性があり，今後の検討が望まれる。
