Recently, the demands for mental health professionals including clinical psychologists have been increasing in the medical fields. However, many clinical psychologists are working part-time jobs and their roles remain unclear except for counseling and administering psychological tests. This study repports about how we assessed and intervened in two cases at a general hospital. Furthermore, we discuss the inconsistency between client satisfaction and the psychologist's identity as a specialist. We concluded that finding out more about the potential client and his or her unidentified needs would be effective in making the psychologists skills more valuable in multidisciplinary workplaces.
