　小児開心術後急性期におけるDobutamine（DOB）・Isoproterenol（ISP）の作用をみるために，先天性心疾患手術後の12例に対し，DOBを5と10μg／kg／min（γ）およびISPを0.005と0.01γ投与し，その循環動態との心筋代謝の変化を求め検討した．

　DOB：DOBの投与により心拍数（HR）と一回拍出量係数（SVI）は増加し，心係数（CI）は著明に増加した．収縮期，拡張期ならびに平均体血圧はDOBの両投与量において上昇した．SVRIとPVRIは明らかな変化を示さなかった．CVPならびにPCWPは両投与量において低下した．DOBは強力なinotropicならびにchronotropic actionを示した．

The purpose of this study is to know the effects of Dobutamine (DOB) and Isoproterenol (ISP) on thesystemic hemodynamics and myocardial metabolism in the acute phase after open heart surgery in children. Twelve patients with congenital heart disease were administered 5 and 10 pg/kg/min (γ) of DOB, then 0.005 and 0.01 γ of ISP, and the systemic hemodynamic and metabolic data were taken before and after the administration of the drugs.

DOB : DOB increased HR and SVI, so CI rose up markedly. The systolic, diastolic and mean blood pres-sure also rose up after both doses. CVP and PCWP were depressed at both dosage levels.
