心エコー図法による右室内径計測値に及ぼす自然呼吸の影響

Effects of Spontaneous Respiration on Echocardiographic Measurement of the Right Ventricular Dimension

　心エコー図法に関しては，おびただしい研究成果が発表されているが，呼吸の影響についての基礎的な検討は少ない^1）。特に右室内径の呼吸に基づく変動に関しては，右室前壁のエコー記録が困難と考えられていたため十分に検討されていない。

　我々は以前，通常のecho-windowから（subxiphoid　approachなど特殊な方法^2）を用いなくても）右室前壁の正しい記録が可能であることを報告している^3,4）。そこで今回は通常の記録法で心エコー図検査を行う場合，自然呼吸が右室内径の計測値にいかに影響するかについて検討した。

Changes in spontaneous respiration of right ventricular dimension was echocardiographically assessed in 37 subjects (20 males and 17 females with age ranges from 13 to 72 years old) whose right ventricular M-mode echo was satisfactorily obtained through the precordium.

The right ventricular dimension was larger in inspiratory phase in all but 2 subjects.
