要旨●当科で励行しているルーチン注腸X線造影検査の具体的な手技を概説した．施行医が，近接操作により，きめの細かいバリウム排泄・注入および送気を適宜施行し，動的な撮影を施行すること，内腔を満たした充分量のバリウムを空気量の少ない状態で移動させた後に，逆行性に最小限度の空気量で二重造影を撮影することにより，大腸全領域にわたるバリウム付着状態のよい二重造影の撮影を企図している．当科では注腸X線造影検査を，スクリーニング検査としてではなく，精密検査における主要なオプションの一つと考えており，診療科として注腸X線造影撮影技術の継承を重要と考えている．

　Here I present an outline of specific techniques used for performing routine barium enema examinations at our hospital. Through proximity operation, a physician performs detailed barium excretion and injection and provides appropriate air supply to obtain dynamic images. After moving sufficient quantity of barium filled in the lumen under a small amount of air, retrograde double-contrast imaging is performed with a minimum amount of air. In this manner, double- contrast imaging with good barium adhesion across the entire colon is achieved. At our department, barium enema examinations, not screening tests, are considered as the main option for detailed examinations, and we believe that it is important to share the specific techniques that we use for performing barium enema examinations.
