Crohn病小腸病変の診断と経過―小腸X線検査の有用性と位置づけ

Role of Radiological Examinations in the Diagnosis of Crohn's Disease

要旨　バルーン小腸内視鏡やカプセル内視鏡など全小腸を検索できるモダリティが普及し，これまでX線検査ではとらえきれなかった微細な病変も検出できるようになってきた．Crohn病の診断においても同様であるが，X線検査は病変の大きさ，範囲，分布，配列などを客観的に把握でき，内視鏡の到達しえない狭窄病変の先の情報も得られる点で有用であり，状況に応じて使い分けることが重要である．

　While balloon enteroscopy and capsule endoscopy can provide excellent visualizations of minute findings in the small intestine, radiological examinations are still the best procedure for identifying the distribution and arrangement of inflammatory lesions regardless of the presence of intestinal stricture. This review introduces a procedure used to perform radiological examinations of the small bowel and also evaluates the efficacy of this procedure for the diagnosis of Crohn's disease.
