Magnifying Endoscopy Techniques for Oropharyngeal and Hypopharyngeal Superficial Cancer

要旨　近年，中下咽頭領域の早期診断・治療が注目されている．従来は、進行癌で発見されることが多く，予後の悪い癌種とされていたが，消化器内視鏡診断技術の進歩，高悪性度群の整理により，早期診断が可能となりつつある．今後は，機能温存を目指した，さらなる診断学の進歩が期待されている．本稿では，それらの診断技術の重要な1つである拡大内視鏡診断のコツについて，解説する．

　Recently, the diagnosis and treatment of oropharyngeal and hypopharyngeal superficial cancer has become a topic. Although most cancer in diagnosed at the advanced stage, it is possible to detected an early stage superficial cancer, because endoscopic imaging technology has progressed and the risk factor of these cancers is pointed out. New advances of diagnostic techniques are expected to enable minimum invasive treatment more and more. We described one of the important techniques of magnifying endoscopic diagnosis.
