I．はじめに

　基底細胞腫（以下Bと略す）の分類は，旧くから種々試みられている^1）〜11。著者の一人上野は764個のBを観察，これを臨床的に次の如く分類した。

1）結節潰瘍型＜結節型219個33.2％潰瘍結節型324 49.1

In basal cell epithelioma, relationships between parenchyma and stroma are complicated. In many cases of basal cell epithelioma these two components proliferate symbiotically, giving the impression that they are mixed tumor. However epithelioma planum cicatricans gives us the impression that connective tissue component acts antagonistically to epithelial factor.

A typical case of 57-year-old man was reported. It was on the right infraorbital region and cured after irradiation with Dermopan of total doses 8700R, steps III and IV. Histologic speci-men from peripheral elevated part contained nests of basal cell epithelioma, while that from central scar showed proliferation of connective tissue in the middle and lower cutis, but contain-ed no epitheliomatous component.
