虹彩内皮の電子顕微鏡的研究

Electron microscopic studies on the anterior endothelium of the iris

緒言

　虹彩の前面を被う虹彩内皮^16）Endotheliumcamerae anterioris^16），Endothel （belag）^3），ante-rior endothelium^13）が果して人間に於て実在するものであるか否かは，古くから多くの人々によつて論ぜられて来た所であり，その検索の歴史はGraefe-SaemischのHandbuch^15）やMöllen-dorffのHandbuch^3）等に詳しく述べられている。

　Wolfrum^14）によれば，他の動物に於て明らかに認め得るEndothelbelagが齧歯中類では不完全であり，人（成人）と或種の猿類には認める事が出来ないという。Lauber^3）はMöllendorffのHandbuch der mikroskopischen Anatomiedes Menschenに於て，人間の虹彩に部分的なDeckzellenの存在を認めてはいるが，Wolfrumの所見を重視して，Endothelbelagに関してはやはり否定的である。鈎^4）は周到な実験方法に基づいて，人間にもEndothelbelagの存在する事を主張している。これらの光学顕微鏡的検索に対して最近Tousimis and Fine^10）11）は人間とrehsus monkeyについての電子顕微鏡的観察結果を報告した。

The anterior "endothelium" was studied by electron microscope in the human (infant and adult) and rabbit irises.

A continuous layer corresponding to the anterior endothelium was found to cover the almost all surface of the rabbit iris.

In human iris, both infant and adult, the same layer consisted of non-pigmented cells surely exist in some places, while not in other places, suggesting the lace-like network of the anterior endothelial layer with large interspaces.

The fine structure of the cells was also described.
