緒言
線状表在性角膜炎は，臨床上稀な疾患である。私は1953年3月から1954年5月迄に，14例の本疾患を経験したので，追加報告し，其の予防及治療に就いて私見を述べて見たいと思う。
14 cases of Keratitis linealis superficialis from March, 1953 to May, 1954 were presented. According to the, literatures, the cause of this disease seems to be Herpes virus, however author considered that the occasion should be necessary.
Post-operative compression against eye and decrease of corneal resistance, namely deficiency of VitaminB seem to be occasion. In the treatment of it, Cortison ointment and drop of Corti-son solution were mostly effective. Administration of Cortison ointment and VitaminB after operation seem to be able to prevent this disease.
