Thymic Carcinoid：Report of Two Cases

はじめに　胸腺カルチノイドは前縦隔腫瘍の2～5％を占める比較的まれな疾患であり，その臨床病理学的特徴はいまだ十分には解明されておらず，また治療法についても定まった見解はない1～3）．われわれは，胸腺カルチノイドを2例経験したので報告する．

Thymic carcinoid is a relatively rare disease that accounts for 2～5％ of all anterior mediastinal tumors. Although the World Health Organization （WHO） classification of pulmonary carcinoid is usually used for histological classification, the existence of the Moran classification, which may have a better correlation with clinical prognosis, is not well known, and further accumulation of cases is desirable. In this report, we describe two cases of thymic carcinoid.
