要旨
目的:病棟勤務看護師が認知するタイムマネジメント阻害要因を明らかにし、問題解決に必要な方策について考察する。
方法:A県主催の臨地実習指導者講習会受講生70名を対象に、タイムマネジメントの計画・調整において困難な事、対象者の属性について質問紙調査を実施した。分析対象は53名(75.7%)、内容を類似性・関連性をもとにカテゴリー化し検討した。
結果:対象者は経験年数6年以上の者が94%で、タイムマネジメント阻害要因は8カテゴリー18サブカテゴリーであった。抽出されたカテゴリーは【多重課題への対応】【看護力と業務量のアンバランス】【看護必要度の高い患者が多い】【予定外の事態】【看護実践以外の業務】【スタッフ指導】【メンバー間の調整】【他の専門職との連携】であった。
結論:円滑な看護業務遂行には看護師自身の努力と経験、看護管理者・組織の支援、他職種との連携が必要であることが示唆された。
Aim: To identify time management obstacles recognized by ward nurses and consider the measures necessary to solve the problem.
Methods: We conducted a questionnaire survey regarding difficulties associated with time management. For this, 70 participants of a clinical training instructor course sponsored by prefecture A were included. Fifty-three subjects (75.7%) were evaluated and their responses were examined and categorized based on similarities and relevance.
Results: Ninety-four percent of the subjects had at least 6 years of experience. Eight categories and 18 subcategories defining time management obstacles were identified. The identified categories were: dealing with multiple tasks, imbalance between nursing skills and workload, a large number of patients requiring nursing care, unexpected event, performing tasks other than nursing-related tasks, staff guidance, coordination among members, and cooperation from other health professionals.
Conclusion: The results indicated that the efforts and experience of nurses, support for nursing administrators and organizations, and cooperation from staff members of other departments are necessary for the smooth execution of nursing tasks.
