子どもの食事活動にはどのような構成要素が含まれているか—作業療法学生のレポートの分析より

Items included in eating activities of children: An analysis of reports written by occupational therapy students

要旨：この論文では子どもの食事活動にはどのような項目が含まれているかを示した．データは保育所実習を行った103人の作業療法学生によって書かれたレポートからひきだされた．学生は保育所の子どもたちの活動を実地に探索した．データはKJ法を修正した方法によって分析した．このデータは食事活動がいかに複雑な側面から成り立っているかに関する知見を与えた：すなわち，技能の発達，独立心の獲得，食べることへの集中力，仲間との会話をもつこと，食物への関心，グループを形成すること，そして自己を主張することである．この研究から得られた知見は作業療法士，作業療法学生が食事活動に介入する際の有益な示唆になると考えられた．

　This article presents understanding about items included in eating activities of children. The data are drawn from reports written by 103 occupational therapy students having training in nurseries. Students explored activities of children. The data were analyzed with the KJ method, with some modifications. The data provide insight into how eating activities are constructed with complicated aspects: developing skills, becoming independent, developing abilities to concentrate, having conversation with friends, having interest in foods, forming groups, and making assertions. The knowledge gained from this study can help occupational therapists or occupational therapy students to treat eating activities of children with handicaps.
