Coraboeuf & Weidmann(1949 a,b.)及びWoodbury,Woodbury & Hecht(1950)以来,単一心筋の細胞内電極による研究は頗る多い。即ち,蛙心室(Woodbury et al 1951),亀心室(Weidmann 1956),哺乳類ではプルキニエ繊維(Draper & Weidman 1951,Trautwein 1953),犬心室(松田1955,1956),心房筋(Burgen et al 1953,Hoffman et al 1954)がその静止電位及び活動電位を測定した。
然し,無脊椎動物では未だ斯様な研究をみない。Draper et al(1951)はアメフラシ心に微小電極法を試みたが,針がすぐ抜けてしまつたと記載している。以下甲殻類の一種に就いて,最近筆者等が行つた測定結果を述べ,従来行われた諸観察との比較を試みたい。
By the use of microelectrodes 0.5-1.0 micra in diameter, membrane resting and action potentials have been obtained from single fibers of the crab heart. Resting potential averaged 63.8±9.65 my and action potentials averaged 68.8±10.05 mv. In 204 instances, 119 showed an overshoot in their action potentials. The action potentials of this 119 instances averaged 71.6±9.55 my and resting potentials averaged 60.7±9.25 my, giving an average overshoot of 10 mv.
The action potential was monophasic, with relatively rapid repolarization phase. Many action potentials show a small hump on the descending phase.
