口腔・咽頭のPemphigus vulgaris

PEMPHIGUS VULGARIS OF THE MOUTH AND THROAT

　Pemphigusは稀な疾患で，原因不明の主として皮膚に病変がみられる水泡症である。普通P. vulgaris，P. vegetans，P. foliceusに大別され，急性型と慢性型とある^16）。P. foliaceusは粘膜を侵さないが，P. vulgarisとP. vegetansは粘膜を侵す。本症が口腔に原発し，皮膚病変が現れない粘膜Pemphigusの場合はその診断が極めて困難とされている。

　われわれは原因不明のびらん性口腔炎を観察していたところ，皮膚に水泡を形成するに及んでPemphigusと診断することの出来た例を経験したので，潰瘍性口腔炎の資料として報告する。

　A man aged 65 was affected with pemphigus which began with lesions appearing in the mouth and throat. Three weeks later lesi ons were found on the skin of the other parts of body while the oral lesions progressed tosevere erosions.

　Steroid hormone was used for treatment which resulted in abatement of symptoms for short while but soon the patient became highly debilitated; 8 months later the patient died. The results of post mortem examina-tion are reported.
