前頭部に轉移を伴つた腮性癌の1例

　緒言

　腮性癌は1882年Volkmann氏に依つて報告せられた3例を嚆矢とし，以來Bruns, Richard，Lorenz等35氏の発表を見，我が國に於ても森，長興，岸本，笠井，間島，杉本，赤岩，渡辺，櫻井，西原，大野等諸氏の報告例がある．然し之等報告の内，轉移の認められたのは殆んど総て近接淋巴腺であつて，僅かに杉本氏の症例が例外と考えられる位である．

　ところが最近我々は前頭部に轉移を伴つた腮性癌の1例に遭遇したので，其の臨床的経過並に剖檢所見の大要を報告し，諸賢の御批判を仰がんとする次第である．

Mishima and Nakashima say that, branchio-genic carcinoma which was first reported by Volkmann has been reported in this country by more than ten observers but, in almost all cases it is recognized as a metastatic base which affects the lymph glands in the surround-ing area. In authors' case, a woman 72 years of age, the lesion which appeared to be a, branchiogenic carcinoma was found on the right side of the forehead and in an area just below the right ear lobe. Because of the situation of growth being on the forehead its significance as a metastatic base met a little difficulty in re-cognition but, finally, from its associated lesion together with the microscopic examination true diagnosis of the condition as branchiogenic carcinoma with inherent properties of metasta-tic base was derived at.
