  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

In contrast to aneurysms of the middle cerebral artery at the bifurcation, aneurysms at the origin of the lenticu-lostriate arteries (LSA) are uncommon. Six surgically treated patients (34 to 70 year-old ; 3 men, 3 women) were re-viewed. b patients presented with subarachnoid hemorrhage (I I&M grade 2 : 3, 3 : 1, 4 : 1 ; Fisher type 2 : I, 3 : 3, 4 : 1) and 2 patients had multiple aneurysms. All aneuryms arose from the postero-superior surface of the M1.
