Traumatic Vertebral Arteriovenous Fistula Caused by an Injury Due to Penetration by Pieces of Glass:Case Report

Ⅰ．はじめに

　外傷性椎骨動静脈瘻は稀な疾患で，文献的には頸部血管損傷の約3〜19％^6,7）であるといわれているが，外傷性椎骨動脈瘤とならんで遅発性出血の原因となり，致命的な予後をもたらす危険な疾患である．今回われわれは，ガラス片の穿通による頸部切刺創を契機として発生した椎骨動静脈瘻症例を経験したので，若干の考察を加えて報告する．

We reported a case of a 79-year-old male with traumatic vertebral arteriovenous fistula. The patient was admitted with hemorrhagic shock due to arterial bleeding caused by a penetrating injury of the neck. Cervical CT showed free air at the level of the lamina of C1. Injury of the vertebral artery was suspected. The right vertebral angiogram showed an arteriovenous fistula between the V3 portion of the right vertebral artery and the suboccipital venous plexus with retrograde intracranial venous drainage.
