I．はじめに

　まれな発作型である笑い発作はその特異な症状が注目されるが，現在では精神運動発作の一症状として位置づけられる傾向にある^{4,6,10,11,13,14）}．今回，笑い発作や全身硬直発作を主症状とする右側頭葉深部の類上皮腫の1手術例につき脳波所見，高次機能検査所見，手術所見などについて検討を加えたので報告する．

A case of epileptic laughter associated with deep right temporal epidermoid cyst is reported. Interictal EEG with suhclural grid electrodes demonstrated multifocal spike discharges in the right temporal lobe. Ictal EEG localized the epileptogenic foci at the base of the anterior medial temporal lobe. After standard temporal lobec-tomy, the tumor was completely removed. The patient is free from seizures postoperatively.
