Cases of congenital hyperammonemia occurred in 2 female siblings were studied.

Case 1: M.O., died in 6-year & 8 month-old with about 6 years' duration. The patient was first admitted to the hospital at 5 months of age because of frequent vomiting and coma. The symptom was subsided with administration of Solita-solution, i.v. At the age of 8 months she was again referred to the pediatric clinic for a generalized muscular hypotonia in comatous state.
