  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

A case fell ill with memory impairment and space disorientation at 49 years old, and then apraxia, agnosia, abnormal attitude, and others appeared. In the terminal stage, the patient fell into a state of severe dementia and died of emaciation after 8 months from onset.

Macroscopically, neither conspicuous atrophy of the brain nor ventricular enlargement was noted. There was also no atheroma formation in the basilar artery.
