Inose and Ri initially described the socalled carmine-positive substances which were presentin the brain of "special type（Inose）" of hepatocerebral diseases, while not in that of Wilson's disease. This remarkable differenceof both conditions may reflect a histopatologicat expression of different metabolic processesin each.
