泌尿器科的処置に関連して発症した肺塞栓症

Three Cases of Pulmonary Embolism that Developed by Urological Manipulations

　泌尿器科的処置に関連して発症した3例の肺塞栓症を経験したので報告した。いずれの症例も，深部静脈血栓症，肺塞栓症および静脈瘤の既往などの肺塞栓症を来す直接の基礎疾患を有していたわけではなかったが，泌尿器科的処置中に肺塞栓症を発症した。手術中および手術後に発症する肺塞栓症は致死率が高いといわれており，その予防と早期診断が重要と考えられた。

We reported three cases of pulmonary embolism. The disease may have been related to urological manipulations, since none of the patients had medical histories or complica-tions such as deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, or varicose veins, all of which are directly liable to the development of the disease. As is well known that pulmo-nary embolism during or after an operative procedure has a high mortality rate, two patients were lost in our series. Prevention and early management of the disease are crucial for reducing the mortality rate.
