前立腺肥大症に対する経尿道的ラジオ波高温度療法

A SINGLE SESSION OF TRANSURETHRAL RADIOFREQUENCY HYPERTHERMIA WITH THERMEX II FOR BENIGN PROSTATIC HYPERTROPHY

　前立腺肥大症25名に対してサーメックスIIを用いて治療温度47.5℃，治療時間70分の経尿道的ラジオ波高温度療法を施行した。重篤な副作用は認めず，治療後の尿閉は32％に認めた。自覚的改善度は88.2％で他覚的改善度は50％であった。総合評価では有用率63.7％であった。本治療に対するアンケート調査では満足が43.5％，やや満足が17.4％，どちらでもないが26％，やや不満が13％であり，総合評価の有用度とアンケート調査の満足度は正の相関を認めた。

25 patients with symptomatic benign prostatic hypertrophy were treated by transurethral radiofrequency heating of the prostate at 47.5℃ in one 70-min session at our clinic. 88.2% of the patients showed subjective improvement and 50% of the patients showed objective improvement. There were no significant changes in the peak flow rate, the average flow rate and prostatic volume. No severe complications were noted. Acute urinary retention occured in 8 patients (32%).
