  • Look Inside

On January 18, 1978, a 50-year-old male was admitted to our clinic with complaints of lower ab-dominal colics. Intravenous urography revealed crossed, unfused left renal ectopia with peripelvic extra-vasation. Retrograde pyelography showed the stricture at the lower end of the left ureter, but no leakage of the contrast medium in upper urinary tract.

Because of the persistent high fever, peripelvic drainage and vesicoureteroneostomy was done on January 21.

Twenty-four days after the operation, intravenous urography disclosed no extravasation.
