膀胱異物の興味ある1例

A FOREIGN BODY IN THE BLADDER

緒言

　我国における膀胱異物の報告例については数多くなされており，昭和42年までに本邦において820例以上に及んでいる。またその異物の種類についても絹糸，ビニール管，鉛筆，針，体温計等の報告がみられ，侵入機転としては自慰の目的によるものが多いとされている。私達は今回自慰の目的によつて使用された針金が過つて膀胱内に挿入され，しかも10年間放置された結果，この針金を核として形成された膀胱結石の珍しくまた興味ある1例に遭遇したので報告する。

Many and various cases of foreign body of the bladder has been reported, and statistical studieshas been clone on them. Rubber tubes, hair pin and vinyl products were mostly used for masturba-tion.

A 17 year old boy who had developed a habit to insert metal wire into the urethra for masturba-tion, passed a 1.2 meter long wire into the bladder accidentaly and was left in for 10 years without any type of x-ray examination, although was admitted to a local hospital for chronic nephritis. The wire was discovered in the bladder by x-ray, when he sufferred from appedicitis at the age of 27 and was removed surgically.
