珊瑚状を呈した腎基質結石

A case of renal matrix stone

　症例は38歳，女性。右腎結石に対し体外衝撃波結石破砕術（ESWL）を2回施行しており，発熱および右側腹部痛を主訴に当科を受診した。上部尿管結石および同部の尿管狭窄を認めたため，経尿道的尿管砕石術（TUL）および尿管バルーン拡張術を施行した。その後も腎盂腎炎を繰り返し発症し，約半年後の画像検査にて腎基質結石を指摘され，右腎摘除術を施行した。

　Matrix stone are uncommon form of urinary tract stone. A 38-year-old woman visited to our hospital with the chief complaint of fever and right colic pain. She had received extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy twice for right renal stone so far. We diagnosed right upper ureteral stone and ureteral stenosis, transurethral ureteral lithotripsy and dilation of ureter with baloon was performed. After that, she suffered from pyelonephritis several times. About a half year later, X-ray examination suggested renal matrix stone. Right simple nephrectomy was performed.（Rinsho Hinyokika 61：737-740, 2007）
