咽頭外傷により蜂窩織炎に至った1例

Cellulitis of the Soft Palate Caused by Penetrating Injury:Report of a Case

　はじめに

　口腔・咽頭の異物による外傷は日常診療において比較的高頻度にみられ，傷害の程度は軽症のことがほとんどである。しかし，異物の進入経路や深度によっては，頭蓋内損傷や大出血，咽後膿瘍や縦隔炎など重篤な合併症を引き起こすことがあり，初診時の外傷部位の十分な把握や適切で迅速な治療が重要である。

　今回われわれは，アジサイの枝で咽頭を負傷し蜂窩織炎に至った小児の1例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

Penetrating injury of the oropharynx is not un-common in children. In most cases, the injury issuperficial. However, if the object penetrates deep-ly, it will associate with severe complication.

A 3-year-old boy with a branch of hydrangea into the soft palate while he was playing. When he visited our hospital, the stick was already removed by himself. After 3 days, cellulitis of the soft palate was developed, and administration of antibiotics was started. The wound healed without serious complication.
