A Case of Heerfordt Syndrome

　はじめに

　サルコイドーシスは原因不明の全身性肉芽腫性疾患で，多彩な臨床症状を呈する。その中でもHeerfordt症候群は顔面神経麻痺，ブドウ膜炎，耳下腺腫脹を主症状とするサルコイドーシスの一亜型として知られている。

　われわれは今回，末梢性顔面神経麻痺を主訴に受診し，サルコイドーシスの診断を得た症例を経験したが，これをHeerfordt症候群と考えたので報告する。

Heerfoldet syndrome is an unusual manifestation of systemic sarcoidosis and is characterized by parotitis, uveitis, and facial nerve paralysis.

A 77-year-old female with a diagnosis ofmalignant lymphoma was referred to us for left facial nerve paralysis and left otalgia.

After we treated her with intravenous administra-tion of steroids and acyclovir as Rumsey Hunt syndrome, the facial nerve paralysis was revealed to be caused by sarcoidosis.

Because this case had only two of three characte-ristic symptoms of Heerfoldt syndrome, facial nerve paralysis and uveitis, we made the diagnosis of incomplete type of Heerfoldt syndrome.
