　はじめに

　耳鳴は，難聴などとともに聴覚異常の1つであり，日常外来でよく遭遇する症状である。原因不明の内耳性難聴が背景にあることが多いが，ときに重篤な疾患の1症状であり，耳鳴が疾患発見のきっかけになることも少なくはない。

　今回，われわれは耳鳴・難聴のみの初発症状で発見され，クリッピング，塞栓術で動脈瘤の破裂を未然に防ぐことができた中大脳動脈瘤の1例を経験したので報告する。

A 59-year-old woman complained of sudden hear-ing impairment and tinnitus. MR Images and angio-graphs showed bilateral aneurysms of the middle cerebral artery. To prevent rupture of the aneu-rysms, the right aneurysm was clipped by the neu-rosurgeons, and the left aneurysm was emblized by the radiologists. Postoperative course was unevent-ful, and both tinnitus and hearing impairment were disappeared.
